Configuring ZeroGate
To configure ZeroGate, complete the following steps:
1. Create and log in to ZeroGate Account
Create a ZeroGate account by visiting https://app.zerogate.com/. Once you have created an account, log in to your account.
2. Create an Organization and Workspace
Create an organization and a workspace within.
The organization represents your company, and the workspace represents a group of users, data, and resources that are isolated and segregated from other workspaces.
3. Add Users, Groups, and Identity Provider
Add users and groups to your workspace and configure your desired identity provider(OTP, Google, Microsoft, OIDC & SAML).
This will allow your users to log in to ZeroGate using their existing credentials.
4. Create a Gateway (Optional)
Create a gateway that can be deployed behind your cloud or on-premise infrastructure, behind a firewall, to provide secure access to private applications.
Follow the installation instructions to install the gateway on your server.
5. Add a Policy to Allow or Reject the Application
Create a policy that customizes access to specific applications. You can specify which users, groups, or devices can access an application.
6. Create an Application
Add a private resource or an application by providing the domain and port for the application, the protocol (HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, or TCP), which gateways to use for the application, which users or groups have access to the application, and which policies apply to the application.
7. Download and Install ZeroGate Client from the Website
Download and install the ZeroGate client from the ZeroGate website https://zerogate.com/client.
8. Open ZeroGate Client on the Device and Login with Identity Provider
Open the ZeroGate client on your device and log in using your identity provider credentials.
9. Allow/Reject Devices from the Dashboard
As an administrator, you can approve or reject devices associated with your ZeroGate account.
10. Connect the Application from the ZeroGate Client and Access the Application
Connect to the application from the ZeroGate client and access it securely.
